Conspiracy Theories and Area 51!

Conspiracy Theories:

Hey! I know it's been a while, things have been a little hectic, however, that isn't what I'm going to be writing about today. In this post, I am going to be talking about conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theories are everywhere, such as Area 51, Stonehenge, King Tut, King Arthur, John F. Kennedy's assassination, etc. I personally find all of these so fascinating, because it makes you wonder, is there more out there that we don't actually know about? Are there other creatures? Many people believe in the Loch Ness Monster, which I personally don't, but there are articles where there is enough evidence to prove that it might actually exist.

In this post, I am going to be talking about a bunch of different theories, but I would love to know opinions on what conspiracies you genuinely believe in. I actually got this inspiration from Shane Dawson, I have been watching all of his conspiracy theory videos lately, so that's the reason I decided to talk about this today.

Conspiracy Number One: (9/11)

The September 11 attacks (also referred to as 9/11) were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks against the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Now when this happened, my parents remember seeing this on the news, when I was only one year old.

The conspiracy behind this is, there were so many predictions about 9/11 before it actually happened, and these predictions go back as far as 1968. I will not take credit for finding these predictions, by the way, I actually saw this in a video of Shane Dawson's, so the credit goes to him for finding this, so I will link his video about it at the end of this post. The concerning part is that all of these predictions were found in kids shows. The photos below are just a few examples.

The first example, a poster in the background of Johnny Bravo.

The second example, The Simpsons, (not really a kids show, but a cartoon, you get the idea), now this example was a little more subtle, but it literally says 9 and 11, that can't be a coincidence right?

The last example, Sesame Street, Cookie Monster destroying the twin towers, so how many more could there be?

There are so many more predictions out there, some news clippings, more cartoons, etc. Now my biggest question is, why are there so many predictions? Yes, it was ruled as a terrorist attack, which is likely, but the one thing that speculates the most, is why are there so many predictions about one of the worst events in history?

Conspiracy Number Two: Did Robert Johnson make a deal with the devil?
For those who don't know who Robert Johnson was an American blues singer, songwriter and musician. Johnson's poorly documented life and death have given rise to much legend. The one most closely associated with his life is that he sold his soul to the devil at a local crossroads to achieve musical success. He is now known for being a master of the blues, particularly Delta blues style.

Now the legend itself gets a little confusing, but the basic idea of it is that Robert Johnson was instructed to take his guitar to the o a crossroad near Dockery Plantation (in Mississippi) at midnight. Supposedly he was met by a large black man, who was supposed to be a form of the devil, took the guitar and tuned it. The devil played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument. In exchange for his soul, Johnson was able to create the blues for which he became famous.

Now, over time, this story has been twisted into what it is known for today, through musicians, personally, when I think of making a deal with the devil, I wouldn't imagine him grabbing an instrument and suddenly you have the power to play it, honestly it seems a little ridiculous to me. Even Supernatural reference this legend in one of their earlier episodes, season 2, episode 8, 'Crossroad Blues', which was in fact a Robert Johnson song. The start of the episode starts off with a man at a crossroads, makes a deal with a demon to be the best blues player, then cuts to him years later, having hell hounds take his soul.

Robert Johnson's death is still unknown to this day, the biggest reason being that an official autopsy was never done, but because of this, it's spread the legend worldwide, some experts believe that he died from having Congenital Syphilis, which is extremely hard to explain, so just google it, while others believe he was poisoned.

Do I believe this theory? Honestly, no I don't, although it could be possible, I think the only way I would believe it, is if there was physical proof of any deal made, but I think he just went off for a while and practised playing until he mastered the guitar.

Conspiracy Number Three: Area 51
What is area 51?  Area 51 is highly classified United States Air Force  facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range. Although details of what this place is, are not publicly known, this has caused an extreme amount of speculation for years about what Area 51 is, and you guessed it, it's supposedly where the government keep the secrecy about UFO's and Aliens. Now, the base has never been declared a secret base, so really we have no reason to speculate about it, but the reason I am writing about it is because the amount of controversy going around the internet about it right now.

Apparently, people are going to go in and raid Area 51, which by the way, is a dumb idea because obviously it's a military base, now the controversy started out as a joke, but because it's gone so viral, it's been all over the news, and some people have already tried to go in, but you know, ended badly I'd assume.

Now, do I believe that it's some sort of secret base where they keep alien technology?
I personally, do not, mostly because I don't believe that aliens are real at all, it's like saying Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are lizard people, (which is an actual theory going around the internet) but it just sounds insane when you say it out loud.. Maybe there could be another life out there, but I'm highly doubting that it's aliens.

Final Conspiracy: The Bermuda Triangle (Also known as The Devil's Triangle)
The Bermuda Triangle is one of the biggest mysteries in all of history, due to so many ships and planes going mysteriously missing. Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, now the reason I am bringing up The Bermuda Triangle is because there are many speculations that the reason for all these ships and planes going missing is, due to extraterrestrial beings, so it kind of leads on from the Area 51 theory that I've wrote about.

One of the most famous cases that really made this take off was the Disappearance of Flight 19, I mean maybe it wasn't, but this was what I heard about all the time when I was in school whenever the topic of The Bermuda Triangle came up. Flight 19 remains as one of the most mysterious disappearances in Bermuda Triangle. Flight-19 was the code name for Five Avenger bomber planes that took off from a base in Florida during December 1945, but was never seen again. Now, there were reports of compass complications, which could indicate the presence of a massive electromagnetic field, as well as problems with radio communication, and to this day, the U.S Navy report for this flight not being found is still 'Reasons Unknown'.

There are many cases similar to this one, even recently in 2017, a plane went missing on it's way to the Bahamas, but there are so many different speculations for all of these planes and ships going missing. I personally believe that it could be a giant electromagnetic field, which if a plane or ship is near, it's likely just to bring the plane down and make it crash. In my mind, that seems the most logical reason, especially because electromagnetic fields are known to mess with compasses, affecting it's ability to properly geolocate properly.

As I referenced above, many believe that it could be alien abductions, explaining why wreckage of the planes and ships are never found. As well as speculation of The Bermuda Triangle being a 'Time Warp', which seems absurd, but remember, there are such things as black holes, which have no perception of time, so could time warps really be that crazy?

I'm going to end this post here, but what are your thoughts? What other conspiracies have you heard of? What are your beliefs?

Let's talk about, Animal Crossing!

My history with Animal Crossing:

For my next post, I decided that I would talk about one game that I played a lot as a kid, and still play occasionally, that game is Animal Crossing. Everyone that I know, first played it on the GameCube back in 2001. However, I first played 'Animal Crossing, Wild World' on the Nintendo DS Lite, when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Once 'Animal Crossing, Let's Go To The City' came out on the Nintendo Wii, I played that more than I did on the DS, and now I mostly play 'Animal Crossing, New Leaf' on my Nintendo 3DS, which admittedly is a great game.

One of my favourite things about it, is definitely the free exploring, and very little instruction because it's more you play the game the way that suits you. Wild World and New Leaf are very similar, in Wild World, you're a new resident, whereas in New Leaf, you are the Mayor of the Town, they have added in some more content, but that's the gist of it.

The History of Animal Crossing:

Animal Crossing was originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 2001, however this version was only released in Japan, later that same year, Nintendo enhanced it and released it on GameCube. This version was localised and released in North America in 2002, Australia in 2003, and Europe in 2004.

Animal Crossing: Wild World was released for the Nintendo DS in Japan, North America, Australia and Europe in 2005. It was the first game to use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The game was later re-released on the Wii U Virtual Console on October 13, 2016.

Animal Crossing: City Folk, also known as Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City in Europe and Oceania, was released for the Wii in North America, Japan, Australia, and Europe in 2008. It was later released in South Korea in 2010. It was the first Wii game to utilise the Wii Speak, an accessory that allows players to talk to each other during online play. (Which I personally had but never used because I never had Wifi lol).

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2012, North America in 2013, Europe and Australia in 2013. As I mentioned above, you are appointed as the Mayor rather than just a resident, in November 2016, a new update was released along with "Welcome Amiibo", being able to use amiibo cards and characters for various parts of the game.

Nintendo have announced that they will be releasing another Animal Crossing game called New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch, which won't be coming out til March 2020, but I am so excited about it!

What I am most excited about:

When Nintendo talked about the release of Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Switch, it was supposed to come out this year, however later talked about in a direct that it needed more development, so therefore, they're releasing it next year instead. I think the thing I am most excited about for this upcoming game is that fact that it's on an island, rather than just in a town. There are a few spin off games like Happy Home Designer and Pocket Camp, that I do have and played, but didn't love as much compared to the original games, so I really hope that Nintendo can live up to the high expectations that all fans have of Animal Crossing and release an amazing game!

I'm going to leave this here, but what are your thoughts?

Zelda Breath Of The Wild Review

Zelda, Breath Of The Wild:

For this post, I decided to review one of my all time favourite games on the Nintendo Switch, which if you do not have, I one-hundred percent recommend getting one, because they are absolutely worth the money.

For anyone that doesn't know the history of all the Zelda games, I would suggest watching GameTheory on YouTube, MatPat definitely explains the timeline and the history much better than I ever could. I will attach a picture of the timeline below, which is only approximate, considering how long and complicated the timeline actually is.

Anyways, Breath of the Wild is set at the end of the series' timeline, as you can see in the picture above. You control Link (the main character in all Zelda games), who awakens from a hundred-year slumber to defeat Calamity Ganon before it can destroy the kingdom of Hyrule. I love the fact that with this game, you can explore freely, so any instruction that you're given, is at the start of the game, and usually if you're doing a quest. The main objective of the game, is to defeat all four of the divine beasts and defeat Calamity Ganon.

Just a disclaimer, this is the order that I defeated the divine beasts, you do not have you do it in the same order, you can research the best order, but it's each to their own! :)

The first divine beast is, Vah Ruta, who is found in the Zora Domain, which contains Waterblight Ganon, whom you have to defeat to free the divine beasts power and obtain it.

'Waterblight Ganon'
'Power obtained: Mipha's Grace'

As I have defeated this divine beast, I can honestly say that this one was definitely the easiest, considering there are plenty of platforms for you to hide behind when he attacks you with his ice and water shots. Although it did take a while to do.

The second divine beast that is needed to be defeated, who is found in Gerudo, Naboris contains Thunderblight Ganon, once defeated, you free Urbosa's spirit, obtaining her power to help defeat Calamity Ganon.

'Thunderblight Ganon'
'Power obtained: Urbosa's Fury'

Admittedly, I actually had to get my partner to help me defeat this one, as it is the most difficult one to defeat. Thankfully, we did manage to defeat Thunderblight Ganon, but if you're only starting out, I would suggest defeating this one last, so you can use the other powers to block his attacks.

The second to last divine beast is Vah Medoh, who is found in Rito Village, with this particular one, there are a couple of things that you have to equip before you can actually defeat the beast. Which I will list below.

1. Snowquill tunic for 600 rupees
2. Snowquill trousers for 550 rupees
3. Snowquill headdress for 1,000 rupees
4. A LOT of Arrows

'Windblight Ganon'
'Power obtained: Revali's Gail'

Out of all the divine beasts, bearing in mind that I have defeated all four, the last one being yesterday, Windblight Ganon is one of the easier ones, even though it comes after the Gerudo divine beast, in comparison, it is much easier to defeat. I would suggest using the tornadoes and wind that he attacks you with, use your paraglider to shoot him with arrows, makes it much easier to defeat the beast and free Revali's spirit.

The last divine beast is Rudania, who is found in Goron City, on Death Mountain, before attempting to defeat this one, I would suggest getting the Flamebreaker armor. This can be obtained either through a quest, or you can buy it in Goron City. There is a quest that you must complete to actually get to the divine beast, but I won't spoil it too much.

'Fireblight Ganon'
'Power Obtained: Daruk’s Protection'

This divine beast, I only defeated yesterday, and it's easy enough, but I would suggest using a walk-through to get to the terminals because it is extremely confusing.

Main objective:
Once all the divine beasts are defeated, the next thing you're supposed to do, is go to Hyrule Castle and defeat Calamity Ganon. The good thing about defeating all the beasts before going to defeat Ganon is that it actually decreases half of his health, so you're not having to go through a phase one and phase two when attacking. In the game, while exploring, you can see the lasers from the divine beasts going directly to Hyrule Castle, once you have got to Ganon, they unleash their attacks on him and that's what decreases his health, the rest is up to you.

Honestly, this game is absolutely amazing! Even after you have completed all the main objectives, there are a bunch of side quests and shrine quests that you can do, so the fact that the developers have put so much effort into this game, and made it such a long game, is incredible.

I'm going to leave this here, what I described about the divine beasts, is only a small pinch of what you can do, and there are quests that you have to do to defeat the beasts, but I would suggest buying a copy and playing it to find out.. it also is on the Wii U as well, so if you have one, I would definitely get a copy of this game!

So, who am I?

So, who am I?

Hey pals! I decided to start a blog, well I have done a few in the past, but this one is the one that I am 100% taking seriously. I really want to blog about my lifestyle, the things that I love doing, and share some of that with you!
